Lifespan more than doubled

The most effective way to reduce environmental impact is to prolong a product’s lifespan as much as possible.

In comparison with the current lifetime of estimated 4 years, we have succeeded in extending the lifespan of the FOR LIFE products to 10 years, which results in a significant reduction of the overall environmental footprint.

- 10-year design life

- Battery recharging lifespan doubled to 1000 cycles

- Advanced battery temperature surveillance system

- Improved electronic design for power supply

- Refined electronic design for charging circuit

- Spare parts available

Every aspect of each product has been reimagined, from design and appearance to electrical components and LED light source. All the new work lights are designed with the latest battery technology available on the market, now offering double battery recharging lifespan, increasing from the current guaranteed 500 cycles to an impressive 1000 cycles.

An advanced battery management system with temperature surveillance ensures that the battery will never be exposed to anything harmful, overcharging/deep discharging for instance. Both the electronic and mechanical designs have been enhanced to ensure optimal performance.

Users can extend the lifespan of their products by replacing necessary parts instead of discarding the entire product. This promotes sustainability and helps reduce waste.

With the highest quality standards, the work lights
come with an extraordinary 5-year warranty.

In addition to the normal 2-year warranty, FOR LIFE
products are covered by a warranty extension
of total 5 years. Register on scangrip.com.

*The CO2 emissions come from materials included in the product + manufacturing process + transportation
+ energy consumption during use of the product + disposal.
The CO2 emission will be reduced by up to 56 % for FOR LIFE work lights compared
to present work lights. The footprint is totalled over the lifetime of the product and specified per unit per year.

Examples:
UNIFORM: current version: 1.15 kg CO2/year
FOR LIFE version: 0.51 kg CO2/year = CO2 reduction of 56 %

NOVA 4 C+R: current version: 4.23 kg CO2/year
FOR LIFE version: 2.66 kg CO2/year = CO2 reduction of 37 %

The design life of the FOR LIFE products is 10 years; 2½ times longer than the lifespan of current
SCANGRIP products, which is 4 years in average.
Data from SCANGRIP’s 2022 climate report is used to calculate the
CO2 footprint following the standards of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG).
